The Plan

The Plan

Adam and I are really excited for our first American tour, hopefully one of many. He has been trying to convince me that adventure will be good for me so we don’t have anything booked beyond our first hotel for 3 nights. In another nod to getting me to embrace a lack of structure we are even travelling anticlockwise!

Our rough plan involves a few days in New Orleans, a trip back to the airport to pick up our Mustang!! and heading out across Mississippi and Alabama. We will be visiting the US Space Centre and going on a tour around the Jack Daniel’s distillery (no prizes for guessing whose idea that was) before spending some time in Nashville.

From Nashville, we drive across Tennessee to Memphis with the idea of visiting Graceland and the Gibson factory (which I am sure will be thrilling!). Once we leave Memphis we really have no idea what we will be doing, which state we will be in or how long we will have left before our flight home from New Orleans. I’m sure I will still manage to plan aspects of it as we get nearer though.

Adam will be doing his technical stuff to post updates and photos on here as we go along.

  1. Poor Hayley, no plans worth a mention and travelling anti clockwise, stressful or what?

Enjoy your holiday. Have a wonderful time.

  2. Excellent. Hayley you are very much embracing Adam’s suggestions by the sounds of it! Look forward to seeing the pics and hearing about your travels. Greetings from France. Thanks again for everything you did for us st the wedding. Love Aisling xx

    1. I’m sure she’ll have a great time! I’m certain that she will be more than happy with the mall stops and all the country music she can listen to!

Hope France is treating you well and the weather is nicer than it is here!

      Adam x

  3. Very impressed by your photographic skills. Keep them coming. Which column of the spreadsheet have you got to?

    1. I’ve got to admit that 90% of these were taken by Hayley! She swindled me saying we were going shopping, she failed to mention the two hour online tour she had planned on the way to the shops. At this rate it’ll be a long holiday!
